Abstract
Bank Talenta Rakyat conducts customer profile screening for credit applicants as a preventive measure to avoid potential fund repayment failures by customers. This process is currently done manually, resulting in a significant amount of time being consumed. Therefore, this research aims to create a machine learning-based model to streamline the customer profile screening process. The model utilizes customer demographic parameters and credit history for analysis. The method chosen for model creation is the Model Selection approach. Based on the results obtained from Model Selection, the model that demonstrated the highest accuracy in this case is the Decision Tree Classifier, with an accuracy of 0.87. Consequently, the outcome of this research is the implementation of a machine learning model for screening customer profiles, employing the Decision Tree Classifier.
