Abstract
Tasi Tolu Beach is one of the beaches in the city of Dili, Timor Leste has the potential for the beauty of natural tourism and artificial tourism that is rich and famous. There are several tours at the Tasi Tolu location, namely: three lakes that named Tasi Tolu, Statue of Pope John Paulos II and the beach with white sand and natural blue sea. Some of these tourist attractions provide potential for Tasi Tolu, but the provision of accommodation facilities such as lodging for this place, so that the tourists who come here this place cannot enjoy the potential beauty that exists in this location with long. By providing accommodation facilities in the form of five-star resorts can meet the needs of tourists visiting Tasi Tolu, so that it is hoped that it will attract more visitors to be able to enjoy it the beauty in that place. Due to the natural conditions of Tasi Tolu which still natural, it is hoped that with this resort it will not change or damage the natural conditions of this location. So we need a resort design that can take advantage of the potential of the surrounding nature so as to create a resort building that harmonize and create a relationship between the building and nature. In the design of this resort, it is one of the buildings that can be used overcome the situation of Tasi Tolu because there is no provision of accommodation facilities in the form of lodging, then from there the theme used for the object This design is "Enjoy An Eco-Friendly Resorts". with the aim of attract tourists so that they can enjoy the facilities available in the the place. To support this theme in order to preserve nature, `then the design of the object uses the green design method architecture. Because the green architecture method is a design process in reducing adverse environmental impacts. From theme and method The design is expected to create a resort that can provide a good atmosphere for visitors and still maintain the naturalness of Tasi Tolu.
