Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the analysis of framing conducted by online media Viva.co.id and CNNIndonesia.com about reporting cases of police allegations against ambulances belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government carrying stones and gasoline on 24 to 28 September 2019. This research is a qualitative study Descriptive method which uses Robert N. Entmant's framing analysis model as a reference to analyze the data so that the selection of issues and aspects highlighted by the media can be identified. The theory used in this study is the Gatekeeper's theory, the theory of reality construction and the hierarchy of influences. This research category is included in the constructivist research category. Framing conducted by the online media viva.co.id in its reporting tends to highlight aspects of the issue to follow up on police actions that have violated the ITE Law and the Kepalangmerahan Law for spreading false news or hoaxes and have committed acts of violence against Indonesian Red Cross officers. While online media cnnindonesia.com tends to highlight aspects of the issue that the police misunderstood information about ambulances carrying rocks and gasoline as well as the violence committed by police against Indonesian Red Cross officers.
