Abstract
The SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) application is a web-based library automation system that has been adopted by the MAN 2 Kediri library. With SLiMS, readers have easy access to the complete collection available in the library. The aim of this research is to identify factors that influence the acceptance of the use of the SLiMS application in the MAN 2 Kediri library using the modified TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) model. This model includes five variables, namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, habit, system quality, and behavioral intention to use. This research involved 297 respondents who were randomly selected from a population of 1145 SLiMS application users. The research results show that habit factors have a positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Meanwhile, system quality has a positive effect on perceived usefulness, but has no effect on perceived ease of use. Apart from that, perceived ease of use also has a positive effect on perceived usefulness and behavioral intention to use. These results indicate that user habits, system quality, and perceived ease of use and usefulness of the SLiMS application have a significant impact on users' intention to use it. This research is expected to provide a deeper understanding of the acceptance of SLiMS technology in the MAN 2 Kediri library. This can be the basis for the development of better solutions in the design of future technologies that are more user-friendly. With this understanding, it is hoped that SLiMS technology can provide maximum benefits for users at MAN 2 Kediri, increase the efficiency of library management, and support a better learning process.
