Abstract
Pabrik kaprolaktam dari sikloheksanon oksim dan asam sulfat menggunakan proses Hidrosilamine Processed to Oxime (HPO) dengan kapasitas 100.000 ton /tahun akan dibangun di daerah Lomanis Cilacap Tengah, Kabupaten Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. Pabrik ini beroperasi selama 24 jam dalam 330 hari dalam setahun. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah sikloheksanon oksim 99% yang akan diimport dari Jepang dan China, Asam Sulfat 98% dan Natrium Hidroksida yang diperoleh dari Industri kimia dalam negeri. Beberapa kegunaan kaprolaktam dalam dunia industri antara lain untuk membuat filamen Nylon-6, fiber, dan plastic peralatan rumah tangga
