Abstract
Blora Regency has the highest beef cattle population in Central Java with 278,397 heads in 2021. This study aims to determine the financial feasibility and sensitivity level of beef cattle fattening business at KTT Lembu Joyo Summit. The sampling method used purposive sampling with 11 farmers as respondents. Primary data collection was conducted using interviews and questionnaires. The first objective was analysed by calculating costs, revenues, and business income, the second objective was analysed by calculating financial feasibility by calculating BCR, ROI, and Payback Period and the third objective was analysed by measuring the rate of sensitivity of the two scenarios. The results showed that 1) The total costs incurred for beef cattle fattening business in 1 period amounted to Rp. 239,442,678, the revenue obtained was Rp. 261,766,667 and the income was Rp. 22,323,989 from 12 cattle sales. 2) Beef cattle fattening business is feasible to run with BCR value of 1.09, ROI of 7.3% and Payback period of 4.5 years. 3) The BCR, ROI, and Payback period values of the cattle business are very sensitive to a 10% and 30% decrease in selling price caused by livestock disease, but a 10% and 30% increase in selling price makes the ROI value sensitive to changes, but not sensitive to the BCR and PP values.
