Abstract
The potential of Indonesia in terms of natural resources and human capital reflects a high potential for economic development. However, Indonesia still faces challenges in achieving economic development equality in several regions, including Gresik Regency. This research aims to analyze the influence of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), the number of companies, and minimum wage on labor absorption in the industrial sector in Gresik Regency. The research method used a descriptive approach and multiple regression analysis on data obtained from government agencies and the Central Statistics Agency of Gresik Regency. The results of the study indicate that the number of industries, GRDP, and minimum wage have a positive and significant partial effect on labor absorption in Gresik Regency. These findings have important implications for policy formulation in improving labor absorption in the industrial sector of Gresik Regency.
