Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the effect of technology acceptance on the use of point of sales (POS) accounting information systems with financial literacy as an intervening variable. In this study, 100 employees from UMKM Cafes in Surabaya were used as research samples. Researchers used two main variables of the technology acceptance model (TAM), namely perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use to explain the use of point of sales (POS) applications in MSME cafes, while the financial literacy variable was used as a variable that intervened in the relationship between TAM and the use of point of sales applications. (POST). Based on the results of SmartPLS version 3.0 data processing, six hypotheses were accepted from the seven hypotheses proposed. Perceived usefulness was found to influence financial literacy, but did not affect the decision to use point of sales (POS) applications. Perceived ease of use was found to influence financial literacy and the decision to use point of sales (POS) applications. Financial literacy was found to influence the decision to use point of sales (POS) applications. In addition, the variable financial literacy was also found to have full ability as an intervening linking the two TAM variables to the decision to use point of sales (POS) applications. Keywords : TAM, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Financial Literacy, SiA Use Decisions, Cafes
