Abstract
School is an educational institution that is hierarchical and continuous in organizing teaching and learning activities. The school environment is currently undergoing significant changes in terms of teaching and learning. There are still several schools in Indonesia that are implementing the 2013 curriculum, including SDN Sidobandung I. The problem that occurs in SDN Sidobandung I is the lack of information to parents about their children's learning progress. This makes it difficult for parents to monitor their children's learning activities at school. The aim of the conducted research is to create a Web-Based Student Grade Monitoring Information System. The research method used in this study is the waterfall method, which starts from the stages of communication, planning, modeling, construction, and deployment. This system is built using the PHP programming language. The system is tested using the blackbox method. Based on the analysis conducted at SDN Sidobandung I, the current system for knowing students' grades is still manual, using report documents, and parents can only get information about their children's progress at the end of the semester. With the development of the Student Grade Monitoring Information System, not only teachers but also parents can be assisted by having access to monitor their children's learning activities at school.
