Abstract
Kampoeng Topi Punggul Sidoarjo is one of the potential villages in Sidoarjo Regency. This village is one of the largest hat suppliers in the East Java region. Hat products from this village have also penetrated the international market. However, few Sidoarjo residents know about the existence of this village of hat. Environmental graphics are needed to be able to provide a visual identity and describe the atmosphere that exists from Kampoeng Topi Punggul Sidoarjo. Also, it can help facilitate the provision of information to visitors while in Kampoeng Topi Punggul Sidoarjo. Data collection for this design was obtained by two methods, namely the primary method and secondary method. The primary method was obtained from interviews and direct observation at the Kampoeng Topi Punggul Sidoarjo location. This activity was carried out to see the phenomena that occur in Kampoeng Topi Punggul Sidoarjo directly and carried out to obtain deeper data to the speakers. After the data is obtained, the data is processed to form a concept that can describe the image or atmosphere of Kampoeng Topi Punggul Sidoarjo. The concept that has been obtained is "Supplier of Quality Hats", this keyword is used as a visual reference in this design and applied to become a visual element in the form of color, material, and formations. With this design, it is expected to be able to describe the image or atmosphere that is typical in Kampoeng Topi Punggul Sidoarjo and facilitate visitors in obtaining information while on location. That means, it can support government programs to advance the development of potential villages in the Sidoarjo region.
