Abstract
Batik Janggala is a company engaged in batik originating from Jiken Village, Tulangan, Sidoarjo. Batik Janggala which was established in 2018 already has a visual identity in the form of a logo, packaging, and several social media. But the resulting visuals are still not optimal and the photography seems unprofessional. While Batik Janggala products have been used by several companies and several government agencies in Indonesia. Because it has the potential to grow even greater, it is very worried that if Batik Janggala does not have the maximum visual it will hamper the development of Batik Janggala. A visual is needed to present Batik Janggala so that consumers can receive the impression that Janggala Batik wants to show. To get a visual that can represent Batik Janggala, several methods are needed, including data collection, data analysis, synthesis, and determination of design objects. The data analysis process uses observation analysis and in-depth interviews with Batik Janggala to produce important points that are owned by Batik Janggala. In addition, the analysis used is a taxonomic analysis that aims to find out and develop more in the analysis of Batik Janggala. From the results of the method and the analysis produced the concept of "Soul of the King" and visualized with photography techniques. Photography was chosen because it is one of the easiest media to convey messages to the audience. This concept is produced because it wants to give a message if there is a Soul within the human being and with the presence of Batik Janggala it is expected to be able to give the impression of the King in every batik that is created.
