Abstract
Fundraising is a crucial activity for organizations in various sectors, including business and technology. However, security and transparency issues often pose challenges in managing donations. Therefore, this research aims to develop a blockchain-based fundraising application with the implementation of smart contracts to enhance the security and transparency of donation transactions across different sectors. The research methodology employed is a qualitative approach using literature study techniques. Literature study is conducted to find references and data regarding the usage of blockchain and smart contracts in fundraising applications and the implementation of security and transparency in transactions. The research results demonstrate that the developed blockchain-based fundraising application can provide data security and transparency in donation collection across various sectors. Smart contracts enable automatic and secure transaction processes, while transaction transparency can be monitored in real-time. n conclusion, a blockchain-based fundraising application with smart contract implementation holds great promise in improving data security and transparency in donation collection across different sectors. This application can offer security and transparency in fundraising and enhance donor trust.
