Abstract
Tempe is a product that is popular with Indonesian people. The problem in marketing tempeh is competitors. This has led to the need for creativity in marketing, not only market traditionally but also modernly using technology. This research aims to identify consumer characteristics, analyze Internal, External factors and appropriate marketing strategy alternative. The method of determining the sample in the study using purposive sampling with 55 respondents. This research data analysis method uses SWOT analysis, and QSPM analysis. The results of the research on SWOT analysis show that the strategy is located in kudran I, explained that internal strengths can create opportunities for tempeh product marketing strategies. QSPM analysis shows the highest TAS results, namely alternative strategies, developing production and marketing activities for tempeh products using technology, facilities and infrastructure.
