Abstract
Pacet is one of the sub-districts located in Mojokerto Regency. According to the RTRW (Spatial and Regional Planning) of Mojokerto Regency for 2012 - 2032, Pacet is a priority area for development as a nature tourism area. However, the development of nature tourism in Pacet District has not been matched by an adequate number of accommodation facilities in the area. These problems provide an opportunity to design a resort hotel that can meet accommodation facilities for tourists. In addition to providing lodging facilities for tourists, this resort hotel is also equipped with tourist facilities, namely agro-tourism. So that tourists can enjoy the facilities to stay and travel in the same area. The hotel resort design concept uses a Vernacular Architecture approach. The choice of a vernacular architectural approach in the design of a resort hotel aims to elevate the typical Majapahit architecture in Mojokerto Regency. In addition, the use of the Vernacular Architecture approach also helps the government's efforts to maintain culture in the form of the legacy of the Majapahit Kingdom in Mojokerto Regency. So that the design of the Resort Hotel in Pacet Mojokerto with a Vernacular Architecture approach can support the government's efforts in terms of developing natural tourism and also maintaining local culture.
