Abstract
Persons with disabilities are people who have physical, mental, intellectual or sensory limitations for a long time which in interacting with the environment and attitudes of society can encounter obstacles that make it difficult to participate fully and effectively based on equal rights (Law No. 19 of 2011 concerning Ratification of Rights- Disability Rights). Based on this description, persons with disabilities have difficulties in society, and also have an impact on the survival of persons with disabilities in the future, facts from the WHO (World Health Organization) also say that persons with disabilities are more vulnerable to poverty. Therefore we need buildings that can support the activities of persons with disabilities in carrying out their daily activities and can also support life in society. In supporting community activities the use of the Universal Design method can accommodate this, the Universal Design method makes facilities for persons with disabilities accessible to anyone, so there is no difference between persons with disabilities and not, besides that this method can also accommodate persons with different types of disabilities. , with this method, after leaving the coaching building, people with disabilities can mingle and socialize properly
