Abstract
Mojokerto Regency has considerable tourism potential, even visitors from outside Mojokerto come every weekend. many tourist sites that have not been managed by the Regional Government, a total of 35 tourist sites. And only 4 tourist objects managed by the private sector, Perhutani, or community organizations, one of which is the Dlundung Trawas Waterfall which is a natural tourist spot, with a waterfall height of 50-60 meters and other facilities such as Omah camping, Camp Ground, and Rabbit Park . The development of a tourist spot is not only in the form of suggestions and infrastructure to realize the comfort of visitors, but in the modern era it requires comprehensive development. On the other hand, to compete in a healthy manner with competitors and the increasing number of similar tourist attractions, further studies are needed regarding development planning and strategies to gain existence in the minds of visitors. In this design, there are several methods that are used, namely qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative methods include observation and in-depth interviews, while quantitative methods include questionnaires. In addition, literature studies and competitor and comparator studies were also carried out to support the design data. And during the design process, data analysis is carried out using the SWOT matrix method. Analysis is carried out to find design solutions from the data that has been collected. From the stages of the analysis, a keyword "Family Wandering" is obtained which means a family adventure By finding keywords, it can be used as a reference for the creation of the Dlundung Waterfall Trawas typeface concept. This design concept includes a unique letter for Dlundung Waterfall, a letter that can be used as an implementation of the Dlundung identity. So that the Dlundung tourist spot can increase awareness through the Typeface that has been designed. Keyword: Typeface, Excursion Family, Nature
