Abstract
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF POPULATION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES THROUGH THE KLAMPID NEW GENERATION APPLICATION IN THE DISTRICT OF GUBENG SURABAYA ABSTRACT Since the introduction of the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia, the government has established a Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy to tackle this outbreak. One of the impacts is the public service system that has begun to be carried out online. Surabaya City made an innovation with the launch of Klampid to take care of population administration. The purpose of this study is to assess how the effectiveness of Klampid New Generation services. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods to find out how to find, collect, process, and analyze research data. Gubeng Sub-district is the research location chosen to obtain accurate or near-accurate data in accordance with the research focus. The focus of this research is simplicity, openness, economy, justice and certainty of time in service. The results of this study indicate that simplicity in service is effective as seen from the flow or procedure that is very easy to manage. Openness in service has been effective as seen from the socialization carried out. Economical in service has been carried out effectively as seen from the absence of fees in managing population administration. Equal justice in service has been effective as seen from the recognition of people who are not discriminated against. Certainty of time in service has not been carried out effectively, seen from the time for completing services that are not in accordance with the provisions.
