Abstract

Currently, skincare can be said to be a primary need, especially for women. Many brands are starting to emerge with their various product innovations for the needs of the community, making companies have to improve their marketing strategies to be able to compete. CV. Laskin Beauty is a company that sells skin care products, one of which is Darkspot Serum, which experienced a decline in sales. This study aims to determine alternative marketing strategies for Darkspot Serum products at CV. Laskin Beauty is experiencing a decline in sales. The method used is SOAR (Strength, Opportunities, Aspiration, Result) which is used to find out where the company is currently and also determine alternative marketing strategies. Then the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method is used to determine the highest score for alternative strategies and also determine the priority strategy. After the analysis, it was concluded that the alternative strategy with the highest score at 2.38 was using a content creator/social media specialist to provide product knowledge to customers uploaded on social media sales in the form of videos or photos regarding product detail information (price, content, durability, usability, how to use) and also information about promotions or discounts on certain events.
