Abstract

The neoliberal era has an impact on competition in all fields which is very crucial, especially in the economic field. Every effort is made to get a decent profit from the products or services offered in economic activities. To achieve this goal, companies are required to be more efficient and effective in managing existing resources, so that they can maximize their influence in the business ecosystem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style, work environment, and work motivation on job satisfaction for employees of the production division of PT Harapan Sejahtera Karya Utama Sidoarjo. This research is a quantitative research that uses a questionnaire as a data collection method. With the population in this study amounted to 256 permanent employees of the production of PT Harapan Sejahtera Karya Utama Sidoarjo. Then the sampling using probability sampling method with simple random sampling technique. With a margin of error of 10%, it can be seen that the number of respondents determined is 71 respondents, employees of the production division of PT Harapan Sejahtera Karya Utama Sidoarjo. The data used are primary and secondary data. While the analysis used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results in this study indicate that 1) leadership style has a positive effect on job satisfaction; 2) the work environment has no (negative) effect on job satisfaction; and 3) work motivation has a positive effect on job satisfaction.
