Abstract

Including marketing is an important activity for the company in order to maintain the continuity of life and its development, as well as to gain huge profits. Marketing is between production and consumption, this means that marketing as a bridge between the two. Product quality and price are the most important this part of the marketing activities. Product quality and price is very helpful in keeping the consumer, because the costs required to maintain the willingness of consumers to be less than the cost to reclaim consumers who have lost or to attract new customers, which is usually larger. In this study has a free variable Product Quality (X1), Price (X2), the dependent variable is the consumer decision (Y). The population in this study is consumers or students who reside in the dormitory daughter Bela Negara UPN "Veteran" East Java. With a sample of one hundred respondents. The sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. The data used is primary data, where data collection using questionnaires. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variable quality of the product (X1) and the price (X2). The quality of the product (X1) and the price (X2) simultaneously significantly influence the purchase decision variable (Y) with demonstrated by the acquisition of F count is greater than the F table by using a test based on the F. And with t test showed that the quality of the product (X1 ) and price (X2) partially significant effect on the purchase decision variables.
