Abstract

Advertising is often being a communication that is constructed through a method that is very adequate (and possibly has effectiveness) because of the people who make it. The media has the power to build a strong enough perspective through the message displayed through the visualization of advertisements, it can be seen that the sign category consisting of reality, representation, and ideology in the advertisement shows that the Giv Flawless White Soap advertisement broadcast on television has represented elements of an attractive female advertising model. to show skin that is white, bright and glowing. The results of this study indicate that the role of women in advertising is still very dominant One of the few advertisements that is quite highlighted is Giv Flawless White Soap because there is an element where gender position is against talent versus advertising promotion. Many also use this gender to help run the trade by bringing the strength of the product brand even though it requires talent to be in a subordinal state. Using the female advertising model is always associated with gentleness, refinement of feelings, moreover, women have a beautiful face and perfect body beauty with a white body because they have charm in the beauty and smoothness of a white, bright and glowing body, so it's not uncommon. women are shown as inspiration for artwork, including design objects.
