Abstract
This study analyzes the effect of Economic Growth, Income Per Capita, and the Open Unemployment Rate on the Poverty Rate in Indonesia during the 2010–2025 period, using a quantitative approach with secondary time series data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), analyzed through multiple linear regression with the assistance of Eviews. The results show that Economic Growth has no significant effect on the Poverty Rate, while Income Per Capita has a significant negative effect and the Open Unemployment Rate has no significant positive effect on the Poverty Rate. These findings indicate that poverty reduction is more strongly determined by income distribution and labor absorption than by the magnitude of economic growth alone. This study recommends strengthening social protection policies and expanding employment opportunities through labor-intensive programs and the empowerment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
