Abstract
The development of TikTok live streaming in Indonesia has introduced a new digital monetization phenomenon through the use of Sticker Gift as a form of audience support for streamers. Unlike physical product purchases, Sticker Gift represents a non-functional digital asset in which users’ decisions are more related to interaction experiences and trust formation during live streaming sessions. This study aims to analyze the effects of Socio-Technical Systems (STS) and Trust Transfer Theory (TTT) on Purchase Intention and Stickiness Behavior among TikTok Live users in Indonesia, as well as to identify configurations of conditions that generate these two behavioral outcomes. Data were collected from 454 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA). The results show that Interactivity, Visualization, and Entertainment significantly influence Cognitive Trust, while Entertainment significantly influences Affective Trust. Furthermore, both types of trust significantly influence Purchase Intention and Stickiness Behavior. The fsQCA results indicate that Cognitive Trust can serve as a single sufficient condition for achieving high Stickiness Behavior, whereas high Purchase Intention is formed through combinations of multiple supporting conditions.
