Abstract
Corn has a strategic role in the progress of the Indonesian economy. The low productivity of sweet corn is caused by improper cultivation techniques. Increasing productivity can be done, one of which is by increasing soil fertility through fertilization. This study aims to determine the best combination of doses between LOF and MKP compound fertilizer in optimally increasing the growth and productivity of sweet corn plants. This research was carried out in February-May 2025 at the UPT Greenhouse PATPH, East Java Provincial Agriculture and Food Security Office. This research method uses factorial experiments arranged in factorial Complete Random Design (CRD). Factor I is the dosage of POC fertilizer "Azriel" (0 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml and 15 ml). Factor II is MKP fertilizer (0 g, 2 g and 4 g). The observation parameters included vegetative growth, reproductive growth, yield components, yield and yield quality, physiological parameters, and media characteristics. The collected data were subsequently analyzed using ANOVA and further tested using Tukey's HSD test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the combination of a LOF dose of 15ml/plant and a 4 g/plant MKP compound fertilizer dose interacted significantly with vegetative and generative parameters, but did not significantly interact with the weight and quality of the crop. In a single factor, the treatment of LOF dose of 15 ml/plant and the concentration of MKP fertilizer of 4 g/plant were the best concentrations to accelerate the generative phase of sweet corn plants, and had a very significant effect on the parameters of male flower emergence, silk emergence age, and faster harvest age than control.
