Abstract
Rice production is highly vulnerable to climate and pest threats. Therefore, the Rice Farming Insurance Program (AUTP) serves as a protective instrument to secure farmers' financial capital. This study aims to describe the implementation of the AUTP program, identify rice farming risks, and analyze the factors influencing farmers' decision to participate in the AUTP program in Guyung Village. This research was conducted in Guyung Village, Gerih Subdistrict, Ngawi Regency. The sampling technique utilized was Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, comprising a total sample of 76 farmers. The first and second objectives were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method. The third objective was analyzed using Binary Logistic Regression. The results of the study concluded that: 1) The implementation of the AUTP program has met the criteria and technical regulations instructed in the implementation guidelines from the Ministry of Agriculture. 2) The farming risk affecting the implementation of the AUTP program is the source of financial and production risk. 3) Age, education, experience, and premium factors significantly influence the decision to participate in the AUTP program.
