Abstract
Robusta coffee is one of the leading plantation commodities in Pasuruan Regency and plays an important role in supporting the income of rural farmers. Puspo Village, Puspo District, is one of the Robusta coffee-producing areas with considerable production potential; however, its productivity remains relatively low. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of Pasuruan Regency (2023), the Robusta coffee plantation area in Puspo Village covers 1,596.87 hectares with a production of 315.26 tons, resulting in a productivity level of 197.4 kg/ha/year. Low productivity is influenced by several factors, including production factors, human resources, infrastructure, and farm management. This study aimed to: (1) analyze the productivity level of Robusta coffee among farmer groups in Puspo Village; and (2) identify the priority factors affecting Robusta coffee productivity using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The study was conducted from May to June 2026 and involved five respondents who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The respondents consisted of the heads of farmer groups. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and pairwise comparison questionnaires based on Saaty's 1–9 scale. The data were analyzed using the AHP method to determine the priority weights of factors affecting Robusta coffee productivity. The results showed that the productivity of Robusta coffee in Puspo Village was 0.63 tons/ha, obtained from a total production of 25.7 tons cultivated on 41 hectares of land. The AHP analysis indicated that production factors were the highest priority in influencing Robusta coffee productivity, followed by human resources, infrastructure, and farm management. The consistency test yielded a Consistency Ratio (CR) value of 0.0017, indicating that the respondents' judgments were consistent. The findings of this study provide information on priority factors that can serve as a basis for formulating strategies to improve Robusta coffee productivity in Puspo Village, Pasuruan Regency. Keywords: Robusta coffee, productivity, Analytical Hierarchy Process, priority factors, farm management.
