Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of agricultural sector production value, trade sector production value, and labor on per capita income in Sorong City. The background of the research stems from fluctuations in economic growth and per capita income during the 2020–2024 period, as well as dynamics in labor, agricultural production value, and trade production value. The novelty of this study lies in the simultaneous analysis of three key variables that affect the welfare of Sorong City’s population. The research method employs time series data from 2015–2024, with per capita income as the dependent variable and agricultural sector production value, trade sector production value, and labor as the independent variables. The analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression with data from BPS Sorong City. The results show that the agricultural sector production value has a positive and significant effect on per capita income, while the trade sector production value and labor do not have a significant effect. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening agricultural productivity, diversifying commodities, and improving human resource quality to sustainably support community welfare. This study contributes to the literature on regional economic development and serves as a foundation for policy-making to strengthen strategic sectors in Sorong City.
