Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), population size, the number of restaurants, and government expenditure on Local Own-Source Revenue in Denpasar City. The independent variables consist of GRDP, population size, the number of restaurants, and government expenditure, while the dependent variable is Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD). The study employs secondary time-series data covering the period from 2010 to 2024, obtained from Statistics Indonesia. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of EViews 12 software. Prior to regression analysis, classical assumption tests were conducted, including tests for normality, multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, and autocorrelation. The findings indicate that, partially, GRDP and government expenditure have a positive and statistically significant effect on Local Own-Source Revenue in Denpasar City. In contrast, population size and the number of restaurants have positive but statistically insignificant effects on Local Own-Source Revenue. This study is expected to contribute to local governments by providing empirical evidence that supports the enhancement of Local Own-Source Revenue through the effective management and optimization of key economic determinants.
