Abstract

The catfish farming industry in Indonesia faces various challenges, including difficulties in monitoring pond water quality, limited access to relevant information, and uncertainty in harvest outcomes. To address these issues, the UI/UX design of the NusAIra platform was developed as a catfish pond management system aimed at improving operational efficiency and production quality. The platform was designed using the Design Thinking method, which places users at the center of the development process. The process began with identifying user needs through in-depth interviews with catfish farmers, followed by problem analysis and the design of innovative solutions. The platform offers several features, including an interactive dashboard for pond management, data-driven price prediction, pond maintenance guidelines, and access to relevant educational materials. The design process utilized tools such as Figma for interface prototyping while applying user-centered design principles. The interface design was iteratively refined based on evaluations and user feedback to ensure that it effectively met user needs. Through this approach, the NusAIra platform serves not only as a management tool but also as a strategic decision-support system for catfish farmers. By adopting the Design Thinking approach, NusAIra is expected to contribute to the digital transformation of the catfish farming sector, support business sustainability, and enhance the competitiveness of catfish farmers in the modern era.
