Abstract
The management of community service data at universities generates an ever-increasing volume of data each period. However, this data is generally used only as an administrative archive and has not been optimized to support analysis or decision-making. As a result, university leadership faces difficulties in obtaining integrated information regarding the implementation of community service activities. This study aims to develop a Business Intelligence system to support the analysis of faculty community service data through the implementation of a data warehouse, Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), and dashboards. The data warehouse was developed using the Kimball approach with an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process to integrate data from operational systems. Multidimensional analysis was implemented using the Mondrian OLAP Server, while data visualization was presented through Metabase.The results of the study show that the developed system can store community service data in a single centralized repository and provide multidimensional analysis features based on the dimensions of time, faculty member, role, faculty, and funding source. The resulting dashboard presents information concisely and interactively. Data warehouse quality testing showed a completeness rate of 90.58% for the fact pengabdian table, 90.57% for the fact anggota pkm table, and 89.93% for the fact kerjasama table. Furthermore, functional testing of the system using black-box testing showed that 18 system test scenarios ran as required, while the User Acceptance Test (UAT) results achieved an acceptance rate of 91.11%, indicating that the system was very well received by users.
