Abstract
PT. Miwon Indonesia is a company that produces food flavorings, flexible printing, and corn starch, as well as sweeteners such as Monosodium Glutamate (MSG). Its three products are Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), Savory Salt, and Mayonnaise. In 1974, PT. Miwon Indonesia moved its factory to Driyorejo Village, Gresik Regency, East Java. Its headquarters remain on the 21st floor of Menara Global, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto Kav. 27, Jakarta 12950. In 2021, PT. Miwon Indonesia changed its name to PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia. The MSG manufacturing process at PT. Daesang Ingredients Indonesia consists of four processes, or four plants: Fermentation, Recovery, Refinery, and Packing. The main ingredients are molasses and beet molasses.
