Abstract

UPA Pusat Bahasa UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur plays an important role in administering the English Proficiency Test (EPT). However, the previous EPT operational process still relied heavily on manual procedures, including participant registration, data recording, payment tracking, exam session management, score processing, certificate issuance, and certificate verification. These conditions resulted in scattered data, service queues, potential recording errors, and limited access to analytical information for decision-making. This study aims to apply the Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) methodology in designing the architecture and developing an integrated EPT Management System. The DAD methodology was implemented through the Inception, Construction, and Transition phases. The Inception phase involved requirement analysis through interviews, observation, and MoSCoW prioritization. The Construction phase focused on iterative system development through sprint cycles. The Transition phase included testing, system training, and documentation handover. The system was developed using Laravel, Inertia React, MySQL, Docker, Dokploy, Traefik, and Gotenberg in a production environment. The implementation produced several modules, including participant registration, exam registration, payment confirmation, schedule and session management, QR-based attendance, table lookup-based scoring, PDF certificate generation, certificate verification, admin dashboard, master data management, and role-permission management. The testing results showed that 19 Unit Tests and 245 Integration Tests were completed successfully without failures. In addition, User Acceptance Testing resulted in 36 out of 40 scenarios passing, with an overall success rate of 90%. Based on these results, the system is considered capable of supporting the digitalization of EPT management processes in a more centralized and structured manner and is feasible to proceed to operational use with initial assistance.
