Abstract

This study aims to analyze and empirically test the effects of money supply and interest rates on stock prices, with inflation as a moderating variable, among LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2025 period. The research method used is descriptive quantitative analysis with an associative approach. The study population consisted of 73 companies included in the LQ45 index during the 2020–2025 period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 17 companies with a total of 1,224 observations. The data used were monthly secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Bank Indonesia, the Central Statistics Agency, and Yahoo Finance. Data analysis employed panel data regression using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) approach via SPSS 26. The results indicate that the money supply influences stock prices, whereas interest rates do not affect stock prices. Inflation was not found to weaken the effect of the money supply on stock prices. Similarly, inflation was found to strengthen the effect of interest rates on stock prices.
