Abstract
The gap in access to easy, fast, and reliable legal information and services in Indonesia remains a significant challenge faced by the majority of the population, where justice often feels like an unattainable luxury. Structural barriers such as high consultation costs, low legal literacy, and an uneven distribution of legal experts act as major obstacles, causing many individuals and small business owners to lose their rights. Amidst the rapid digital transformation, the utilization of digital platforms emerges as a potential solution to bridge this gap. In response to this challenge, a web-based legal consultation platform named Justibot has been designed and built, aiming to be a modern, user-friendly tool to democratize access to justice. Its development adopts a modern technology stack for optimal performance, with React.js on the frontend for a dynamic user experience, Express.js on the backend for a reliable API, and supported by a PostgreSQL database system to ensure data integrity. The Justibot platform synergistically integrates a series of key features, including an AI-powered chatbot for instant, 24/7 basic consultations; a directory of verified professional lawyers to find the right expert; a collection of educational articles to increase legal literacy; and practical legal document templates to empower users. Through the implementation of this project, it is hoped that the Indonesian people can gain more inclusive, easier, and faster access to legal information and services, which can ultimately act as a catalyst for increasing national legal awareness and strengthening the foundation of a just rule of law for all.
