Abstract

PT Telkom Akses is a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk that specializes in the development and management of access networks, including broadband services based on fiber optic technology across various regions in Indonesia. In supporting the acceleration of national digital transformation, PT Telkom Akses plays a significant role in building reliable and wide-reaching network infrastructure. The Construction Division is one of the key operational units, responsible for planning and implementing the physical development of the network, including monitoring construction project activities in the field. To optimize its operations, this division requires a digital system capable of presenting data in real-time, in a structured and informative manner, to support work effectiveness and efficiency. As part of the Field Work Practice (PKL) activity, a web-based user interface (frontend) system was developed to assist in monitoring network construction activities. The purpose of this system is to provide a digital solution capable of displaying project progress through visual diagrams, project data summaries, lists of construction activities, and automatically stored activity history. The system is designed to be responsive and accessible via both desktop and mobile devices, ensuring flexibility for field usage. The methodology includes direct observation in the work environment, interviews with internal stakeholders, and literature studies on the latest frontend technologies. The design process involved creating wireframes and mockups based on a UI/UX approach. The system was developed using React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an iterative approach that incorporates feedback from internal teams within the Construction Division. The final output is a frontend system prototype that is ready for further development, including backend integration and additional features such as automated notifications and time tracking. This system is expected to significantly and sustainably support the digitalization of work processes within the Construction Division.
