Abstract
This study aims to examine how Banyuwangi Regency’s Local Revenue is influenced by the number of domestic tourists (X1), the number of international tourist (X2), the number of hotels (X3), and the number of restaurants (X4). The data sources for this study consist of secondary time series data from 2010 to 2024, collected from various relevant institutions. The analysis method applied is multiple linear regression using the Eviews application. Based on the results, all independent variables studied have a significant simultaneous effect on PAD. However, when examined individually, only the number of restaurants (X4) was found to have a positive and significant effect on PAD. Meanwhile, there was no effect from the number of domestic tourists (X1), the number of international tourists (X2) and the number of hotels (X3). This indicates that an increase in tourist visits or the addition of hotels does not necessarily lead to an increase in local government revenue. Therefore, a tourism development is needed that focuses not only on increasing the number of visits but also on improving the quality of tourist spending, so that the tourism sector can make a more significant contribution to the PAD of Banyuwangi Regency.
