Abstract
This study aims to design and develop a web-based Library Management System (e-PUSMA) at SMPN 1 Sumbermalang using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The main problem identified is that library management processes are still carried out manually, resulting in data inaccuracies, delays in information retrieval, and inefficient management. The RAD method was chosen because it accelerates system development through an iterative process while directly involving users. The developed system integrates student data management, visitor records, book requests, book data management, borrowing, returns, book catalogs, and reporting features. The database used is MySQL, while the system is developed using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript to support backend functionality and system interface implementation. System testing was conducted using Blackbox Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Blackbox Testing results showed that all system features functioned properly without errors, while SUS testing achieved a score of 82.85, categorized as excellent. Therefore, the e-PUSMA system is considered feasible for implementation and capable of improving the efficiency and accuracy of library management.
