Abstract
PT Mutiara Putri Gemilang is a company engaged in real estate property and has been established since 2022. As the company's operational activities evolve, the need for neat, accurate, and structured office inventory management has become increasingly important. However, in practice, inventory management in this company is still carried out manually using simple recording without adequate information system support. These conditions cause various obstacles, such as difficulties in monitoring the availability of goods, prone to inaccurate or duplicate data, poorly documented goods borrowing processes, and slow reporting processes. As a result, work efficiency decreases and decision-making related to inventory needs becomes less than optimal. Therefore, a digital system is needed that is able to support the process of data collection, monitoring, and inventory management in a comprehensive and integrated manner. In this Field Work Practice (PKL) activity, the design and development of a web-based office inventory system application was carried out which aims to make it easier for companies to manage all inventory data more efficiently and in realtime. This system is designed to cover various main functions, such as data collection of goods, stock recording, tracking the status of goods, loan management, and automatic reporting. Application development uses the Laravel framework for the backend part, with MySQL as the main database. The development methodology used is Agile, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. System needs are collected through interviews with field supervisors as well as direct observation of the ongoing inventory management process. The result of this street vendor activity is a web-based inventory application that is able to present complete, accurate, and easily accessible inventory information. This system allows companies to collect data on goods in a structured manner, monitor the quantity and condition of goods in real-time, and manage the borrowing process in a documented manner. The application also provides an automatic report generation feature that assists management in evaluating inventory needs and usage. The system was tested with administrative staff and related departments, and showed that the application was running well and was able to improve the efficiency of inventory management. With this system, companies are expected to minimize recording errors, speed up administrative processes, and increase effectiveness in inventory control. In addition, this system provides added value in terms of data transparency and accuracy, thus supporting the smooth operation of the company as a whole.
