Abstract
The conversion of productive agricultural land in Indonesia is a significant threat to national food security. Unpowered Automatic Fertigator (FONi) technology applies the concept of evapotranspiration-based irrigation is employed to fulfill plants water requirements without altering its intended pupose the use of electric power. Cucumbers have a large enough water content, reaching 95%, so the availability of water greatly affects cucumber plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the water level that influences the growth and production of Japanese cucumber plants using FONi technology. This study uses a single factor, namely the water level consisting of 4 levels, namely T1: 4 cm; T2: 13 8 cm; T3: 12 cm; T4: 16 cm. The data obtained were analyzed by correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that the treatment of water level of 8 cm obtained the best results on all observation variables. The treatment of water level of 8 cm had a significant effect and was strongly correlated with the observation variable of number of leaves, number of female flowers, weight of fruit, length of fruit, diameter of fruit and dry weight of pruning with FONi technology.
