Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of access to resources, perception of farming, economic opportunities, access to technology, and support from other parties on the interest of young farmers to engage in organic rice farming in Klaten Regency, as well as to identify the most dominant factor. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a case study on the Klaten Young Farmers Community (KPMK). A research sample of 54 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula from a total population of 117 members, using simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Likert Scale Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 3 software. Descriptive analysis results indicate that respondents have positive perceptions toward all studied variables. Hypothesis testing results via outer and inner SEM models demonstrate that resource access, farming perception, economic opportunities, technology access, and third-party support have a positive and significant effect on young farmers' interest. Economic opportunity and perception of income stability are the primary drivers (most dominant) for the younger generation. Strategic recommendations focus on enhancing premium market facilitation for organic rice, expanding land financing access, and strengthening sustainable agricultural technology education. Keywords: Young Farmers, Organic Rice, Farming Interest, SEM-PLS, Klaten Regency.
