Abstract
Durian is one of the leading fruit commodities in Indonesia with high economic value. Increasing durian production needs to be balanced with the implementation of sustainable agricultural systems, one of which is organic farming. This study aims to analyze the sustainability status of organic durian farming in Tambaksari Village, Purwodadi District, Pasuruan Regency based on ecological, economic, social, technological, and institutional dimensions. The research was conducted on 33 organic durian farmers using the Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) method with the assistance of Rapfish software. The results showed that the sustainability of organic durian farming was generally categorized as moderately sustainable. The economic, social, and institutional dimensions were categorized as moderately sustainable, while the ecological and technological dimensions still need improvement. This study highlights the importance of strengthening environmentally friendly cultivation and post-harvest technologies, improving farmers’ capacity, and enhancing institutional support to promote the sustainability of organic durian farming in the future.
