Abstract
This study aims to examine and demonstrate the influence of moral sensitivity, transparency, and community participation on the achievement of the Village Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Pecangaan Kulon Village, Jepara Regency. Sustainable village development is a crucial effort in realizing the social, economic, and environmental well-being of the community. To support the achievement of Village SDGs, various supporting factors are required, such as the moral sensitivity of village officials, transparency in village governance, and community participation in the village development process. This study employs a quantitative approach using a questionnaire-based data collection method distributed to the residents of Pecangaan Kulon Village. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the relationship between the independent variables—namely moral sensitivity, transparency, and community participation— and the dependent variable, namely the achievement of Village SDGs. The results indicate that moral sensitivity and community participation significantly influence the achievement of village SDGs, whereas transparency does not have a significant effect on the achievement of village SDGs. These findings suggest that enhancing the moral sensitivity of village officials and fostering active community involvement play a more significant role in supporting the success of village SDGs compared to transparency in the context of this study.
