Abstract
This study aims to analyze the economic potential, factors affecting production, and income level of kasturi tobacco farming in Patempuran Village, Kalisat District, Jember Regency. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling of 40 farmers. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and income analysis. The results showed that kasturi tobacco farming has high economic potential, indicated by an average farmer perception score of 4.15, categorized as very good. The multiple linear regression analysis revealed that land area (X1), labor (X2), capital (X3), and farming experience (X4) significantly influence tobacco production (Y). Income analysis showed that the average revenue was IDR 34,254,062 with total costs of IDR 20,625,000, resulting in an average income of IDR 13,629,062 per planting season.
