Abstract
Pabrik Monosodium Glutamat dengan kapasitas 60.000 ton/tahun akan didirikan di Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Pabrik ini akan beroperasi selama 24 jam dalam sehari dan selama 330 hari dalam setahun. Pabrik Monosodium Glutamat ini menggunakan bahan baku Molase yang berasal dari PT Kebon Tebu Mas, Lamongan dan Natrium Hidroksida dari PT. Satona, Surabaya. Pada umumnya MSG dapat digunakan sebagai penguat rasa (flavor enhancer) pada makanan. MSG dapat diproduksi dengan beberapa macam proses, yaitu antara lain proses Hidrolisis, Proses Sintesis Kimia dan Proses Fermentasi. Ketentuan pendirian pabrik hidrogen yang telah direncakan dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1. Kapasitas Produksi : 60.000 ton/tahun 2. Bentuk Perusahaan : Perseroan Terbatas 3. Sistem Organisasi : Garis dan Staff 4. Jumlah Karyawan : 160 Orang 5. Waktu Operasi : 330 hari/tahun; 24 jam/hari 6. Lokasi Pabrik : Ngimbang, Lamongan, Jawa Timur 7. Bahan Baku : Molase 8. Luas Pabrik : 32.707 m2
