Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal combination of soil nitrogen availability and the effect of its application on the yield of red chili plants. This study was conducted using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with twelve treatments and three replications. The soil parameters observed in this study were soil pH, C-Organic, CEC, NH4+ and NO3- and for the observed plant parameters was fruit production per plant. The results showed that the application of a combination of H3S1 (humate = 60kg/ha and silica = 1 ton/ha) was the best dose to increase soil available nitrogen. The combination of humic acid and silica treatments had a significant effect on the yield of red chili production, with the highest value of 93.09 tons/ha.
