Abstract

This study examines the implementation of detention suspension (stuiting) in corruption cases at the Madiun Regency District Attorney's Office. The study aims to understand the implementation, obstacles, solutions, and its compliance with laws and regulations. The method used is empirical legal research through interviews and direct observation in the field. The results show that detention suspension is carried out based on the health condition of the suspect or defendant with medical evidence, but there are still minor discrepancies with legal provisions. Strict supervision is needed to prevent abuse and to ensure justice and legal certainty. Keywords: Suspension of Detention, Corruption Crimes, Prosecutor's Office
