Abstract
Wonosalam Village is characterized by diverse agricultural land uses and intensive cultivation practices that may lead to declining soil fertility, while recent soil fertility data for the area are lacking. This study aimed to assess the Soil Fertility Index (SFI) across various land-use types and identify key indicators influencing soil fertility in Wonosalam. Soil samples were collected from mixed gardens, salak orchards, coffee plantations, rice fields, and drylands at depths of using purposive random sampling. Laboratory analyses were performed for pH, organic C, total N, available P, exchangeable K, CEC, base saturation, and exchangeable Al. Results revealed that SFI values ranged from 0,53 to 0,65, classified as moderate, except for one dryland point categorized as low. These findings indicate that soil fertility remains moderate but is susceptible to decline under intensive land management. Therefore, site-specific soil management practices, particularly organic matter enhancement and balanced fertilization, are recommended for farmers and land managers to maintain and improve soil fertility in Wonosalam Village. Keywords: Soil Chemical Indicators, Nutrient Availability, Land Management Intensity, PCA, Sustainability Assessment.
