Abstract

This study aims to identify potential vulnerabilities on the website of the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Surya Sembada in Surabaya City using the Vulnerability Assessment (VA) method. This method is used to analyze system security levels and uncover risks that may be exploited by malicious actors. The study involves vulnerability scanning, report analysis, and recommendations for system improvements. The findings reveal several critical and medium vulnerabilities that could potentially lead to data breaches and operational disruptions. Therefore, implementing improvements such as enhanced server security, software updates, and cybersecurity training is recommended to strengthen the security of PDAM's website. This study contributes to raising awareness of the importance of information security systems, particularly in public service institutions.
