Abstract
Field Work Practice (PKL) activities were carried out leading to the development of the Modulix website platform using Laravel technology, MySQL database, and AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Route 53, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancer, and CloudWatch. Modulix is an e-learning platform designed to provide an efficient learning experience for its users. In its development, Laravel was chosen as the main framework for the backend of this platform, offering the stability and flexibility needed in content management and user interaction. The MySQL database is integrated through AWS's RDS service, ensuring reliable and secure data management for application needs. AWS EC2 is used as the infrastructure to run the virtual servers that host Modulix applications. Elastic Load Balancer and Auto Scaling to manage traffic and capacity. Route 53 services are used for DNS management. CloudWatch is used for real-time system performance monitoring. Through this PKL, the main goal is to develop and implement a reliable and efficient e-learning platform, utilizing advanced technologies to provide an optimal user experience. This research and development also focuses on aspects of data security, infrastructure scalability, and meeting the functional requirements of the Modulix platform, in line with the challenges and opportunities that exist in the elearning industry today.
