Abstract

The Internship Program was carried out at PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk Surabaya, a company engaged in the processing of palm oil. This program aimed to directly observe and understand the production process of palm cooking oil, which includes key stages such as refining, bleaching, and deodorizing (RBD). Each stage plays an important role in producing high-quality cooking oil that meets safety and quality standards. In addition to the technical aspects, the internship also covered quality control systems, occupational health and safety (OHS) implementation, and sustainable waste management. Through this program, students gained practical industry experience and were able to connect academic theories with real-world industrial practices, thereby enhancing their competencies and work readiness.
